John Jacob WARNER  (c.1710 - c.1765)

He immigrated to America from Ireland with his wife and family in 1755. 
Settled first in the Orangeburg District of South Carolina, near Culpepper 
Courthouse. He was granted 100 acres of land on "the East side of the 
Saluty[sic] River bounded by Peter Fitchcart". The plat was dated 4 June 
1757. Another grant "located on Camp Creek, a branch of Saluty, bounded 
by vacant land and Egerton Leigh, Esqr." was awarded to Margaret Warner 
about the same time.
