William PECK  (1601 - 4 October 1694)

He arrived at Boston harbor on 26 June 1637 aboard the ship "Hector". He 
came with his wife and eldest son. He was one of the founders of the 
settlement at New Haven where he was made an original proprietery freeman 
on 29 October 1640. His will was dated 9 March 1689. He died at the home 
of his son, Joseph, in Lyme. He was a merchant, rather than a farmer.
