This book provides an in depth examination of the ancestors and descendants of the original immigrants of this family to the New World. William FARRAR was a member of the Virginia Company, and settled in that Colony. Robert FARRAR settled in Virginia in 1635. Their relationship to each other is uncertain.
There are several varieties in the spelling of the name: the vowels are either or both of them sometimes changed to "e", and the last to "o", ie." Ferrar, Farrer, Ferrer, Farrar, and Farrow.
