Believed to have sailed for New England in the Spring of 1630. However, no
record of his name appears in the passenger listings of the time. He first
appears in Wethersfield, Conn records in 1637 when he was admitted as a free
man. He was a Grand Juror in 1642-43-44. Town Clerk in 1645. Representative
to the Council from 1646 to 1656. Removed to Hadley, Mass. in 1659 and
became a freeman in 1661. He was a deacon of the Church and its First
Recorder. He resided for a few years in Hatfield, Mass. but died in Hadley,
Mass.
